Perhaps this is why civilizations and societies that build up their urban infrastructure without protecting their productive natural resources......but undervalued, fragile but critical natural resources, green producers, blue flows have failed in the past, the Mayans, the Romans and more.....as our urban areas die.
Perhaps we could revitalize our urban lands to cool our urban lands, to green our cities with blue flows of wonder, to bring living systems back to our cities to nurture the many.....please....thanks.....
Perhaps our nation needs to look at the way we value and treat our fragile but critical natural resources that are impossible to count in human cash...... such as photosynthetic O2, air, water as H2O, soil production and soilmakers, green forests, wetlands, natural and virgin habitats that hold the fragile web for all life intact......that enable nature's fragile but critical producers to produce to consume and consume to produce critical flows impossible to count in human cash.
Perhaps this is why numerous religions warn humans to count nature's wonders as much as humans count human coins of metal cash of human cities.
It's not difficult to understand if able to see and feel beyond only one privatized bank account of only one obvious now of only 1%.
It's not difficult to understand with safe, affordable access to nature's amazing wonders beyond human walls and barriers.
