I sent the following petition from Center for Food Safety through Facebook on 081413 to H.R. Dave Loebsack D-Iowa and hope that he and others will share this very critical letter/petition for national security:
"I am writing to urge your support of H.R. 2692, the Save America's Pollinators Act.
The scientific evidence has become overwhelming and numerous civilized nations have banned neonicotinoids. Why hasn't the US? Do our leaders assume that privatized cash profiteering justifies all? It does not and they are wrong, very, very wrong...wrong scientifically, wrong mathematically, wrong economically, wrong egonomically, wrong morally and often wrong legally. We need to count more than metallic, mechanical and artificial cash. Cashflow floods kill:
2006 Patent(s) for neonicotinoids cited destruction of ribosomes in bees as a risk of neonicotinoids and scientific evidence has found direct, irrefutable links that all colonies hit by Colony Collapse Disorder also show destruction of ribosomes. The catastrophic CCD percentages hit US and our world that winter, killing 30% of honeybees. I also noted a huge drop in the Monarch butterfly migrations. Why? Did the OK for the neonicotinoids cause those catastrophic yearly drops even though our own US EPA warned against using neonicotinoids? This is not good news for humans or for life on earth (as every link in the web for all life holds the entire web intact)....because biological, cellular ribosomes are critical for producing energy and many other metabolic miracles for any organism. The honeybee is only an indicator organism.....
This is the smoking gun that has prompted many other civilized nations on earth to ban deadly neonicotinoids. Is our nation civil or not? Do you want your children to ask you later why you helped to destroy our nation and world? No.

In fact, of the 100 crops that provide 90 percent of the world's food, over 70 are pollinated by bees. In North America, honey bees pollinate nearly 95 kinds of fruits such as almonds, avocados, cranberries and apples. That’s why it’s so urgent to address the record–high decline of honey bees. Reports nationwide have consistently documented bee kills between 50 -70 percent just this year, with some beekeepers losing 100 percent of their operations.
EPA granted a conditional registration to the neonicotinoid clothianidin in 2003 without the required field study on pollinator impacts. This requirement has never been met, yet clothianidin remains one of the most commonly used insecticides more than a decade after EPA found it had insufficient basis for registration requirements. Neonicotinoids are now the most widely used insecticides in the world and their use has been repeatedly shown to have lethal and sub-lethal effects on bees, other pollinators and beneficial insects. For example, in June of 2013, 50,000 bumblebees were killed as a direct result of exposure to a neonic applied to Linden trees for cosmetic purposes.
EPA is currently working under a 2018 deadline for reviewing the registration of clothianidin and other neonicotinoids. Five more years of colony losses at this rate leaves little hope that the beekeeping industry will survive this delayed timeline, seriously jeopardizing our agricultural economy and food supply. Congress must take action to accelerate EPA’s irresponsible timeline..

We cannot limit our minds to deadly confines of human cash profiteering for only 1%......We cannot attack other nations and our own people, lives and lands illegally ....
We need a legal system that protects the innocent now and generations from now.... but many pesticides are toxic because they do not break down easily .......and because our agricultural crops absorb the toxics to become part of the fruits, vegetables and grains in a cruel scheme to poison to control all.
We don't need a "legal system" that conspires to take from the many to give to only 1%.
We don't need a "legal system" that conspires to push all 100% down.....of, by, for privatized cashflows for only 1% that destroy the children of the 1% also.
We need a legal system that protects and nurtures the fragile but critical web for all life that keeps humans alive day to day and minute to minute. Even if some 1% just don't get it.
The ancient Rule of Law was designed to protect the innocent who could not protect their selves, such as your own children and nature's amazing logic and wonders that produce the critical flows (green watersheds that produce O2, H2O, topsoil, soil makers, green of habitats, light, pollinators, food, shelter) that keep humans alive day to day and minute to minute. But some just don't get it....and conspire with cashflow floods to crush the fragile watersheds, light, pollinators to manufacture cashflow floods of only 1% for only the privatized, obvious now....at our expense now and generations from now.
We need our political and corporate leaders to understand basic scientific facts of logic and ability and will to detect clear links between causes and consequences and catastrophes that threaten to destroy our nation and world. Public leaders need to represent the public and their own childrens' futures. The cash-driven 1% need to honor and respect God's green nature of logic that produces the logical ecological economy of critical flows that enables them to breathe day to day and minute to minute.

Ironically, artificial and mechanical human cash systems count the most critical flows of nature the least and the least critical, artificial flows the most, the most deadly the most. A critical component of any functional system, any successful system, living or mechanical, cell or self or nation or globe is the ability to balance critcial flows within both artificial and natural boundaries/walls to relieve stress of components and the whole and others in that world....to prevent self-destruction.
But just don't get it and blind their privatized, immediate, obvious self of dense walls with deadly cashflow floods that destroy the self also.
The 1% need to count more than human cash as numerous religions of the world command......to value the invaluable, the priceless impossible to count in human cash. But those that declare war on the many are wrong, very, very wrong, because all biological organisms, every seed, seedling, habitat hides amazing genetic potentials that seek rich nurturing soil, water, air, green and light of the sun to mature genetically to find satisfying self-determination and safer, more affordable access to the critical flows to keep the self alive and happy day to day and minute to minute.

But some of only 1% assume erroneously.....and manufacture overpriced, alluring propaganda pushing myths that the 1% needs deadly cash-flow floods to "control the world" of, by, for "global military supremacy" for 1% for riches that will "trickle down" or trickle on.....that we need a Contract on America....A "Project for a New American Century" of 2000 (an entire year before 9/11) claiming that we needed a "New Pearl Harbor" or 9/11 to seize control of resources for "global military supremacy" with 2 criminal wars of aggression and cash-flow floods for only 1% to control the world ....that we need to crush the competition to take from the other to get for the private self, to take from the other to get for the private self in a linear world.......and they assume erroneously that privatized profiteering justifies all in a world of tyranny where 1% push the many down enough to extract flows from the many, killing the many... in a linear world, in a dead and desertified world of deadly, terminal cycles of, by, for 100%.

Addendum 081813: I hope neonicotinoids are not impacting butterflies....but perhaps no one has taken the time to notice. I did notice that Monarchs stopped visiting my neighbor's milkweed plant(s) after 2007....the winter after the 2006 Colony Collapse Disorder appeared wiping out 30% of hives in only one winter. Researchers need to examine the mitochondria and ribosomes of butterflies also please thanks.
